Jen bio

Hi. i’M JEN.

Thanks for taking a minute to get to know me. I'm a registered dietitian with a unique background that helps me help people uncomplicate food.

I know what it’s like to feel completely lost, and not have any idea what or how to eat. It took me over a decade to figure out that my definition of wellness doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s, and that it can include delicious food that I love, physical activity that I enjoy rather than dread, and best of all, it can be ridiculously uncomplicated, and even fun! I learned the hard way, and collected quite a few skeletons in my kitchen along the way. I built my nutrition practice so your journey can be less complicated than mine. I can help you stop dieting and make your own discoveries! I can help you find fun again in your relationship with food, and find peace of mind knowing that you’re also working toward your own definition of wellness and are on your way to becoming your best, most vibrant and energetic self!

SOME BASICS ABOUT ME

  • I HAVE A UNIQUE APPOACH.

I spent 20 years working in the restaurant industry. I believe that letting someone else cook for you from time to time is virtually essential to a having a healthy relationship with food, and drink.

  • I'M NOT A GOURMET COOK, OR A PERECT EATER.

I’m proof that you can eat well, and work toward wellness without spending hours in the kitchen, and without fearing on every calorie you consume!

  • I have an undergraduate degree in Marketing Communication and Advertising from Emerson College.

I know how food marketing works, what every single word on a label means, and why we’re tempted by, and attracted to many foods. I like to help people take back control and feel empowered when they shop no matter what they are buying.

  • I have a graduate degree from Simmons College in dietetics.

It’s a science-based background you can trust. It’s what I learn from you though, about you, that will play the biggest part in forming my recommendations to help you reach your goals.

  • I promise you kindness and compassion, paired with just the right amount of candor and lots of laughs!

I was a cheerleader. I will not hesitate to get really excited when you make discoveries!
